What was your first job in the realty industry? I was a new home consultant with a large private builder.
Where did you grow up? Montreal, Canada until I was 16 years old. Then I moved to Alpharetta.
Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a lawyer.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I walk when I am stressed.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Princess Diana. As a young girl I admired her sophistication and gentleness and her ability to engage a crowd. Although she had wealth, she still had a desire to help and love the people.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Lake Lanier on a boat.
What do you love most about the industry? It is forever changing. Every day is a new day and no two transactions are alike.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? People come first and money will follow. I will work day in, day out 7 days a week to ensure I am growing in my position and educating myself so I can help my clients and piers.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Time management. I love what I do so much I am reminded that I can easily get out of balance.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Everywhere. You can meet new clients at the grocery store, mall, school functions, sporting events etc.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? First, I am a mother of 4 boys and 1 girl. Next, my team is no. 3 in the country and no. 3 in the world with RE/MAX. At an early age, I had my first two of four boys. No college education and all the odds against me. I beat the odds and today I am able to provide for my family.
