What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Teller manager at Wachovia

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Atlanta, GA.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a lawyer.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I enjoy a swim in my backyard or taking a trip to the ocean and listening to the waves.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would love to meet Serena Williams because I love how she empowers and inspires women. I love her strength.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret? The best kept secret we have is our hospitality and our good southern cooking. My family has the best cooks in Atlanta.

What do you love most about the industry? What I love the most about real estate is seeing the excitement people have in their eyes and heart when they purchase their very first house. It brings me so much joy!

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I have a big heart and it is not just a transaction. I care they find the house of their dreams, I care they can feel comfortable in a nice neighborhood. I don’t care how small or big the transaction is, all of my client receive the best I have to offer them as their agent.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Getting clients to understand how much patience is needed throughout the whole process.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Calling potential clients even if you feel as if you do not know what to say. Getting to know people and actually care about helping them.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? I love watching The Walking Dead. I am reading Angel Crush and The 25 Sales Habits of Highly Successful Salespeople. I love listening to Maxwell.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta? I love Nan Thai Fine Dining, I love the Kai Siam and the Lamb Hung Lay.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? When I worked at the bank, I would always have secret admirers sending me roses and flowers!

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I am afraid of heights and I fly often and I am afraid of planes.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Negril, Jamaica! I love that island the people are so friendly and they have great hospitality.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Las Vegas is my favorite city!

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Stay consistent and write small weekly goals and reach them every week.
