The Georgia Association of Realtors is holding a course about contract changes. You will review the changes in the 2014 GAR Contracts, discuss the Purchase and Sale Agreement from A to Z and learn how to write good stipulations to withstand the changes.
The course will be taught by Monica K. Gilroy and Christopher Burell. Gilroy is a founding principal of Dickenson Gilroy and the firm’s managing partner. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin in 1990 and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993. She also attended the Ealing College of Higher Education in a study abroad program in 1989. She leads the Litigation Department as the focus of her national litigation practice includes all aspects of real estate litigation, including foreclosure and title disputes, broker and agent liability defense, mortgage fraud-related litigation and civil and commercial contract disputes. She also leads the Default Department providing national foreclosure, bankruptcy and eviction services. Burell joined Harry Norman, Realtors as an agent in the Intown sales office in 2005. After a successful start in real estate he was identified as a great motivator and instructor and was asked to join the Harry Norman, REALTORS® Career Services Department as a training instructor and recruiter.
