Allan Minter, Senior Marketing Consultant/Realtor

Harry Norman Realtors, Christie’s International Real Estate

Allan Minter sold over $3 million in his first year in real estate, and more than $30 million before age 30. Over the course of his 15-year career in real estate, he’s negotiated in excess of $100 million in sales volume. “Once I commit to a client relationship, I go the extra mile and am willing to do whatever it takes to ensure satisfaction,” he says. Minter’s accomplishments have earned him lifetime membership in the Atlanta Board of Realtors Multi-Million Dollar Club (MDC), as well as Senior Marketing Consultant (SMC) Designation within Harry Norman, Realtors, a designation for top producers.

Minter’s achievements speak to his consistency in the local market. Another consistency is the growth he’s seen in his business. Since 2009, his sales volume has increased by an average of $3 million a year. “Real estate requires hard work, patience and exceptional time management,” he explains. But according to Minter, the real secret to his success is dedicating equal time, energy and expertise to every client regardless of budget. “I’ve received million-dollar referrals from $80,000 clients. It all comes back to you,” he says.

While his average price point has increased over the years, one of his greatest joys remains helping first-time buyers purchase a home, which he finds just as exciting as they do. Minter also excels when it comes to representing clients experiencing a life change, because he considers it an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in both their present and future.

Never unwilling to go above and beyond, this Atlanta Realtor is also not afraid to get his hands dirty – literally. “It’s not uncommon for me to be in a crawlspace during a walk-through to see what’s in there, but it’s all part of a day’s work.” Yet his willingness to get down in the trenches goes even further, including his commitment to provide real-time market data to better manage clients’ expectations. “It doesn’t do my clients any good to simply tell them what they want to hear; they need to know the truth to make informed decisions.”

An Inman Park resident, proud father to daughter Stella and husband to wife Ana, Minter still finds the time to give back to the community whenever he can. He actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and local dog rescues, and recently helped raise more than $50,000 for Cure, a nonprofit that supports child cancer research. And while he helps clients buy and sell property, he also invests in Atlanta’s booming markets, like the Beltline and its surrounding neighborhoods. Still, he derives his greatest joy from what he can do for others. “Whether it’s telling a buyer that the seller accepted their offer, seeing the look on a seller’s face when we close on their home or witnessing a first-time buyer’s excitement at the closing table – those are defining moments, because I get to be part of an important life event for my clients, and that means the world to me.”
