Larry F. Delbridge II, Vice President of Mortgage Lending

Guaranteed Rate Affinity

Real estate seems to be in Larry Delbridge’s blood. He grew up watching his mother, whose entrepreneurial spirit shone throughout her 40-year career as a real estate agent. Delbridge started his own career in the finance industry, working in automobile financing, then credit and collections. In 1995, equipped with his financial experience and the knowledge gained from watching his mother, he seamlessly transitioned to the mortgage industry.

In his 27 years of mortgage lending, Delbridge has seen quite a few changes in the market, allowing him to sharpen a variety of skills used in his business today. One could compare the systems used by Delbridge and his team to a well-oiled machine. “We have a system that allows us to underwrite borrowers before they put in an offer, which helps loans close fast and takes the uncertainty out of the process,” he explains. “When you use a seasoned and reputable loan officer, the listing agents have the confidence the transaction will close, which, in turn, helps get your home under contract.”

Delbridge strives to provide the same superior level of service to his real estate partners, who appreciate his longevity, wealth of knowledge and top-notch communication. “When an issue arises, we communicate the issue and solution as soon as possible,” he says. In addition, all Guaranteed Rate Affinity team members are assigned roles specifically designed to support and reflect positively on real estate agents. “This ensures that all tasks are met on time and customers are over-communicated with,” Delbridge adds.

When he isn’t facilitating mortgages, Delbridge loves kayaking, hiking and working on his farm. He also has a passion for missions and youth. He coached youth and led Sunday school classes for over two decades and has been on over a dozen mission trips.
