Atlanta’s tallest building, Bank of America Plaza, has been purchased by Shorenstein Properties LLC, a privately owned San Francisco-based company, for an undisclosed price.
Since its opening after the market real estate crash, many of the tenants of Bank of America Plaza have downsized or relocated. Having had previous occupancy levels of 90 percent, Bank of America Plaza currently is at 45 percent occupancy.
In the last quarter of 2015, previous owner, CW Capital Asset Management put the building up for sale.
