When it comes to homebuilding, Atlanta is a top 20 market to watch in 2017, according to a joint report from PwC and the Urban Land Institute.
The city’s No. 19 ranking comes as little surprise, as Atlanta has seen strong increases in residential construction spending this year. During the month of September, builders spent more than $505 million on new projects, a 12 percent increase year over year. Year to date, spending was up 13 percent to $5.6 billion.
