Woodfield Development broke ground on Union Green, a new 295-unit apartment community in Union City.
The four-story, modern multifamily development will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with Luna Pearl granite countertops, 10-foot ceilings and energy-efficient appliances. Community amenities include a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, grill, patio, sky lounge and virtual golf simulator.
Located at 4980 Stonewall Tell Road, the community will have easy access to employment centers in burgeoning South Fulton, such as the headquarters for Chick-fil-A, Porsche North American and Delta Airlines, via the South Fulton Parkway, Woodfield said in a release.
“As the job market continues to thrive in the metro Atlanta region, especially on the South Side of Fulton County, we have seen a huge demand for housing here in Union City due to our convenient location and availability to the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and several job corridors,” Union City Mayor Vince Williams said. “This multifamily residential complex is exactly what we need as Union City ‘Reclaims, Renews and Reimagines’ our community.”
CBG Building Company is the general contractor, and Fifth Dimension Architecture and Interiors is the architect. Woodfield expects construction to be complete in April 2025.
