Atlanta-based residential private-money lender SRP Lending hired longtime external advisor, Jessica McCoy, as its new CFO.
A CPA, McCoy has advised SRP since its inception in 2013 and will take over all financial and accounting functions for the company in her new position.
She served as a tax manager at O’Neal & Associates for 13 years before its acquisition by Smith, Adcock and Company, where she worked for another five–and–a–half years and was “pivotal” in onboarding O’Neal clients, SRP said in a release.
“Jessica has the unique advantage of transitioning into the role of CFO already armed with a deep understanding of our operations,” SRP Lending Principal Geoffrey Deckelbaum said. “Her comprehensive experience and dedicated service make her an invaluable asset to our company and clients.”
McCoy graduated summa cum laude with an MBA and BBA from Brenau University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
