RangeWater Real Estate has hired former RPM Living executive Jim Mauck as its CFO. Mauck brings nearly three decades of experience developer’s team. 

In his new role, Mauck will oversee the firm’s capital structure and financing options, provide strategic direction, drive cash flow and manage the accounting and finance departments, the company said. 

Mauck most recently served as CFO at RPM and its predecessor, CF Real Estate Services, both of which are full-service multifamily companies. He also served as the CFO for Key Property Services, a single-family rental firm, as well as CFO and COO for Miles Properties, a national multifamily company.  

“Jim is an excellent addition to our executive leadership team,” RangeWater Chairman and CEO Steven Shores said in a press release. “His proven track record of spearheading company-wide initiatives and providing sound financial management will elevate our team’s efforts, ensuring we remain diligent in our mission to lead the rental-housing industry.” 

Mauck has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a double major in finance from Virginia Tech. He also obtained his certified public accountant license in 1997.  In his free time, Mauck enjoys rooting for the Virginia Tech Hokies, spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, running and playing tennis.
