Blue River Communities hired homebuilding veteran Maria Whitlatch as its new operations manager.  

Whitlatch has 13 years of experience working for national builders and most recently served as an area sales manager in Atlanta for Century Communities. 

In her new role, Whitlatch will oversee community openings, marketing, model merchandising, competitive analysis, human resources, culture initiatives and field operations support. 

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Maria previously and look forward to once again having her on my team,” CEO Greg Duriez said in a press release. “Maria is an uber-talented team player with a depth of industry knowledge.”

Whitlatch lives in Suwanee with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys boating on Lake Lanier and visiting her two grown children.
