Noel Mwamba loves to promote homeownership, especially among emerging young professionals and families, as a vehicle for building future financial independence. “My LLC helps educate people on how they can achieve the American dream and create generational wealth through the purchase of real estate,” says Mwamba, a real estate broker with Mwamba Realty Atlanta LLC. “Many of my clients are African graduates that have never purchased homes in their lives. No one in their families has ever owned a property. Therefore, it is the biggest deal of their lives.” For his part, Mwamba helps make that deal go smoothly and relieve his clients of much anxiety.
In addition, he works with many new investors looking to build their property portfolio, showing them how to complete deals, then lease and manage the properties. He also informs them of upcoming investment opportunities in Atlanta.
Mwamba has been involved in real estate for about 18 years, going from part-time to full-time when he and his family moved in 2017 from New York to Atlanta. Before real estate, he worked for the United Nations headquarters in New York for more than a decade. Working in international peacekeeping made him happy for a while, but the excessive global travel and rigid bureaucratic culture of the U.N. took its toll on him. Fortunately, selling homes allows him to continue to indulge his passion for helping people advance in their lives.
Clients praise Mwamba for efficient, reliable, consistent and success-driven services. He maintains a five-star rating on Zillow, has maintained Top Producer status with the Atlanta Realtors Association the past three years and is a member of the Association of Zambians in Atlanta. His deep knowledge of the transaction process, pleasant personality and white-glove service have resulted in a lot of referral business.
When not working, Mwamba enjoys coaching his son Kyle’s boys soccer team, watching movies and going to dinner with his wife, Andrea.
