May was another banner month on the price per square foot front, according to the latest numbers from Movoto.

Price per square foot in the Atlanta housing market rose a very healthy 10.5 percent year-over-year in May, increasing from $143 a square foot to $158, according to the latest State of the Market report by Movoto.

That was not only a typically strong yearly increase for Atlanta’s market, but the third strongest in the nation among large metro areas.
