Andrew Malone’s volunteer experience with Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency, Stand Up for Kids and Bright Futures fuels his passion for helping others get the start they need to be successful. When he is preparing a meal for someone who is homeless, he puts everything into that meal, because it might be their only meal that day.
“Walking the streets at night in Atlanta looking for teens without a place to stay really opened my eyes to how vulnerable you feel when you are not able to find shelter. I help families find the house of their dreams but I also help those who have lost all hope find the courage to dream about their future again. When you are able to help a teen living on the street find housing, it changes how you view everything in your life, and you become overwhelmed with gratitude.”
