What was your first job in the realty industry? Sales Associate with Christopher & Hayes, a small company in East Cobb.
Where did you grow up? Marietta, GA
Growing up, what did you want to be? At a young age, I did have an interest in real estate and it was a hobby of mine in my early married life until I got my license.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Listening to music is wonderful and my very favorite thing to do is dancing to that music.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Dr. David Jeremiah – Pastor/Teacher in San Diego. Very impressed with his knowledge and gift of teaching.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? No favorite place as long as it is with family and/or friends.
What do you love most about the industry? It is a people business and one that you are rewarded for helping people with real estate needs. I feel blessed to have been doing this for over thirty years.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Together with my listing co-agent, being a staging professional has been fun and helps sell homes faster and at a higher price. That is a free service.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Working too many hours is the only thing as going the extra mile does take more time in the day.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Most of my clients are referrals from my buyer and seller clients which has been my success – word of mouth.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Reaching the accomplishment of the thirty-year Gold Phoenix Award which was a goal of mine.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The Glory Days by Max Lucado
What is your favorite restaurant? Rays on the River where my husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary.
