The first set of townhomes at a new 16-unit community in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood just went on the market and will be available to move in early this summer, according to a press release from Engel & Völkers Atlanta, which is selling and marketing the residences.
The three-story townhomes by Selig Development will run from the high $700,000s to the mid $800,000s and will average around 2,400 square feet.
“As newcomers make Atlanta their home, the eastern side of the city is filling up and out. We’re seeing a surge in demand for oncoming product that offers the lock-and-leave lifestyle young professionals are determined to experience,” Christa Huffstickler, founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, said in the press release.
She added that the location “puts buyers in the heart of the action near highlights such as Ponce City Market, The Atlanta Beltline, Freedom Park, and a multitude of shopping and dining experiences.”
It is the first boutique townhome community for Selig Development, according to Selig Chief Development Officer Steve Baile, who said the firm is committed to “preserving the historic importance of the adjacent Manuel’s Tavern while creating an improved and safer environment for pedestrians and homebuyers to enjoy.”
