What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Running my residential real estate construction company.

Growing up, what did you want to be? An architect
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Yoga, hanging out with my wife, Mary, of 31 years and our two Shar-Peis, Fannie Mae and Bentley.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? The Spanish Architect, Antoni Gaudí. I would like to absorb his thoughts on being on his love of natural design and modernism.
What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret? It won’t be a secret if I tell.
What do you love most about the industry? The fact that everything changes often and quickly.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I am a new construction guru. I have personally built and sold over 1,000 homes in my career. In addition, I run a large team within Coldwell Banker that specializes in quality representation.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Managing a large sales team and client base comes with managing lots and lots of details.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Past clients are our primary lead source. I have been in the business 25+ years and have a large client base.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I was listening to a new seller talk endlessly about her dogs and I was looking forward to meeting them. When we went into her family room I saw them staring from the corner. It took me a moment to realize they had been to a taxidermist and were stuffed.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I’m funny.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Any place I have not been to.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Brooklyn
