The Georgia Association of Realtors has created a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force, according to a press release.
“The task force will work to raise awareness of the organization’s goals to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership and membership, while facilitating an association-wide discussion about how GAR can become the diverse, inclusive community of members it envisions,” the association noted on its website.
Bobbie Sanford, who’s a member of the DeKalb Association of Realtors, will serve as chairman of the new task force, and Rodney Rawls of Savannah Realtors will serve as vice chair. A full list of the group’s board members is available on the GAR website.
