What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? It would be restaurant manager. I helped open up some of the first Five Guys in Georgia. The first location was on East-West Connector. That taught me how to stay calm in the face of disgruntled customers & employees.
Where did you grow up? Sarasota, FL. Then I moved to Nashville, TN when I was pre-teen. Then finally GA for my teenage years.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Meditation, yoga, and journaling
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would love to meet Phylicia Rashad. She is the epitome of class, intelligence, and beauty. Her presence speaks for her before she even speaks.
What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret? In my opinion, nothing is a secret in Atlanta. With social media and Google, everything is known lol.
What do you love most about the industry? The interaction with all types of people. I am what you would call a social introvert (I know that sounds crazy, but true). Also, the constant evolution. I get bored easily, and with this industry no two borrowers are the same. So it is different every time. It keeps my interest.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My top notch customer service, communication, and constant evolution of how I interact with clients and agents (my reoccurring client)
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Giving bad news. I would love to say that everything always works out, but it does not always. But nonetheless, I keep a positive attitude.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Social media presence, cold calling, and word of mouth.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? I am loving the book, “Be Happy” by Dr. Robert Holden. We are so busy chasing the “perfect life” that we forget we already have it. It’s all about perspective. Knowing that you hold the real joy out of life 🙂
What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta? A good salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The King & Queen buildings.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I wouldn’t say anything weird. But crazy, yes lol.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I am actually more of an introvert than people would know.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Anywhere with a beach or ocean. It is the most soothing, relaxing feeling for me.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Manhattan, NY
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Know your strengths and niche early in your career.
