Where did you grow up?

Lawrenceville

What was your most interesting job before going into lending?

Before lending, I did bookkeeping and taxes, which were ever-changing, and I loved it.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I love to connect with nature, go for a walk, or sit by the pool and listen to waterfalls. Also, playing with my children and our three dogs.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Betty White, because I love a good belly laugh!

Where is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

Braselton. Such a great hometown feel, with some really amazing and unique shopping and restaurants that are locally owned.

What do you love most about the industry?

I love to help others obtain homeownership, which gives these families stability and financial gain over the years.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Not being able to get someone a loan at the exact time they need it. I always strive to set them up for the future, and I know it can feel frustrating if they cannot secure a loan at the time of need.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I am watching Andrea Cox on YouTube and finishing up Ozark on Netflix.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?

I love the fried lobster tail served at Chops!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?

The Fox Theatre

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

Worked for a medical doctor for about a year before he showed me a submarine he was building in the basement of the building!

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

I love to sew and create things!

What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

Destin, Fla. I have always loved the beaches and the shopping there.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the lending industry?

Be a kind human, treat everyone equally.
