As high interest rates have made newly built homes competitive with or even cheaper than existing homes, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties is throwing its hat in the ring with the launch of the New Homes Network (NHN).
The NHN gives builders access to a team with new homes expertise while also giving BHHSGP agents access to new homes resources to serve their builder clients, according to an announcement.
The creation of the NHN follows an increasingly widespread trend of brokerages catering to the builder community. In June, former BHHS Georgia Properties agent Michelle Hewell teamed up with land development expert Cameron Henderson to launch Foundation Partners Realty, which seeks to tie brokers, developers and builders together in a common strategy.
Senior Vice President Chuck MacPhee will lead the team, which also includes Marketing Director Nicola Schwab and Client Services Director Wendi Johnson. The team is rolling out tailored partnership programs for builders, including the new Sales Acceleration Program, to help generate additional traffic and sales opportunities.
“We’ve reimagined the New Homes Network with a more innovative approach to selling and marketing new construction,” MacPhee said. “By bringing the right people, resources and partnerships together, we help builders reach more buyers, create stronger demand and accelerate sales.”
MacPhee has deep roots in the residential construction community, having spent decades helping builders and developers create successful communities that sold well. He has built durable industry relationships during his career, having developed innovative sales strategies and helped position new-home communities for long-term success.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our new homes business,” BHHSGP President and CEO DeAnn Golden said. “With experienced leadership, a clear vision and the strength of our entire organization behind it, the New Homes Network is positioned to deliver a more complete builder experience.”
