Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties COO Kathy Connelly will retire at the end of 2026 after more than 30 years at the brokerage. 

Ahead of her retirement, Senior Vice President of Relocation Janet Mauldin will become senior vice president of business development and enterprise partners, while Relocation Manager Erin Young will be promoted to SVP of relocation. 

“Kathy has been an extraordinary leader, trusted colleague and friend, and her contributions to our company are immeasurable,” BHHSGA President and CEO DeAnn Golden said. “For 33 years, she has led with wisdom, professionalism and integrity while always keeping our people and our company’s success at the center of every decision. Kathy has helped shape who we are today, and her influence will continue to be felt throughout BHHSGA for many years to come.”  

In her new role, Mauldin will work with the brokerage’s enterprise partners to identify strategic business opportunities, oversee the growth of the property management unit and the company’s OnePoint initiative and continue to provide executive leadership to the relocation team. 

“These transitions reflect the strength of the leadership talent within our organization and our commitment to thoughtful succession planning,” Golden added. “Janet and Erin are proven leaders who understand our culture, our people and the importance of building lasting relationships.” 

New leadership for the New Homes Network 

Separately, BHHSGA said Chuck MacPhee, the founder of the Level Up Real Estate Team in the company’s Buckhead office, was promoted to senior vice president of the New Homes Network. 

In his new role, MacPhee will lead sales, builder partnerships and business development for the network, which aims to be a one-stop shop for homebuilders looking to market new-build projects.

“Our vision for the New Homes Network has always been to go beyond traditional real estate services and create a true partnership platform for builders,” Golden said. “With Chuck leading the way, I am confident the New Homes Network will continue to set a new standard for new construction marketing and sales in Georgia.” 

The Level Up Real Estate Team will continue with Alexandra French at the helm.
