What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? I sold meeting and event space for a zoological park and botanical garden in college.
Where did you grow up? Sumter, South Carolina
Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to work in hotels around country. That’s what brought me to Atlanta.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Pre-covid I loved going to For the Sole in Sandy Spring and The Sole Spa in Buckhead. Can’t wait to get back to that indulgence and tension reliever.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I really admire the work of Pamela Adlon. I appreciate how she tells a story in such an honest and true way. Better Things is a breath of fresh air. Also, writer and director Sally Wainwright for much the same reason.
What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret? Our big city still feels like a small town in many ways. Once you land on “your spot” connecting here is relatively easy in my experience.
What do you love most about the industry? Working with buyers and introducing them to Atlanta. Finding our their interests and drivers and how that relates to their home search.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Stemming from my roots in hospitality, I moved to Atlanta with Hyatt back in 1997, providing exceptional service is my main goal. I am also extremely responsive to current and past clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? This past year it has been feeling a bit disconnected due to masks and social distancing. Hopefully making such an important decision during the pandemic outweighed this barrier but I missed seeing my clients faces and expressions.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Don’t be afraid to ask!

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta? Tie : Lassoni cauliflower at Tabla in Midtown or Salmon at Rumi’s Kitchen

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? Fairly certain my client and I were chased out of a basement in Smyrna by spirits who didn’t want us there. We were almost running up the stairs!!!
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? I’m gay, lol.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why? Chablé Maroma because it’s easy to get to with exception service.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? San Francisco
