The brokerage network has raised over $143 million since it first began working with the nonprofit in 1979.
The funding will go toward the construction of 35 rental units, which will be the final step in a larger redevelopment project and span two buildings.

The effort was part of the 9/11 Day of Remembrance, in which 30,000 volunteers across the country prepped over nine million meals.
For the third year in a row, the Atlanta-based developer built the project’s grand prize, a four-bedroom, four-bathroom house in Cumming.
“Following the tragic floods in Texas, we at the National Association of REALTORS® and the Realtors Relief Foundation are heartbroken at the lives lost and the communities devastated,” said RRF President Greg Hrabcak.
Debbie Sonenshine, an agent from Cobb/North Fulton, founded Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta.
All the volunteers have been instrumental in the local housing nonprofit’s expanded statewide mission.
The home giveaway raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works to fight childhood cancer and other pediatric diseases.
More than 100 of the brokerage’s agents and employees participated in the effort, which resulted in the donation of almost 2,000 care kits and the preparation of a week’s worth of meals for over 30 families.
The National Association of REALTORS® and Florida REALTORS® are accepting donations to provide disaster relief.
The money raised will go to nonprofit organizations that support the U.S. military community.
The brokerage cited a surge in donated items in making its annual Harry Norman Cares Initiative a success.
“The volunteers from David Weekley Homes are always eager to pitch in and get covered in sawdust,” said Ben Lake, social media and marketing director for the Georgetown chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
