The Providence Group and more than 30 trade partners helped raise over $2 million for cancer research at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
The Atlanta-based homebuilder built the two-story single-family home, which is located in the Palisades community in Cumming. Valued at $650,000, Carlitonia Boykin of Temple won the 2,284-square-foot grand prize.
Other prizes included a Ford Maverick or Bronco, a $10,000 Visa gift card, a golf cart and $3,000 gas card, and a $10,000 furniture shopping spree.
The fundraiser sold about 21,000 raffle tickets at $100 apiece. This represents the fourth year in a row that The Providence Group has helped raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which helps children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Over the past four years, the Atlanta Dream Home Giveaway has raised $7.3 million for St. Jude, which provides free treatment, travel, housing and food for families with sick children.
