I spent 10 years working and living in the Caribbean and Southeast Alaska.

I always wanted to own my own business.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Spend time with my family boating on Lake Lanier.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?
I am not sure it is a secret anymore, but living on Lake Lanier or owning property on Lake Lanier.
What do you love most about the industry?
Helping others achieve their home ownership dreams on Lake Lanier.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Knowledge of the Lake Lanier market and building on past relationships to create further opportunities.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Right now on Lake Lanier, the most difficult aspect of my job is the lack of inventory and how high the demand for property is. In any given year and month there is an average of 300 homes for sale. Currently we are averaging less than 50 per month.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Consistency in messaging and keeping in touch. I have been sending out an email every week to my Lake Lanier database for 16 years.

Outlander on Netflix
What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?
My wife’s homemade meat sauce for pasta.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
At a vacant house on the lake, a client brought wine and cheese to have a picnic.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
My varied background and that I lived and worked in the Caribbean, both on land and onboard cruise ships.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
The British Virgin Islands (Jost Van Dyke and Saba Rock), along with St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Key West
