The Florida developer behind the Star Metals District on Atlanta’s Westside unveiled plans for a $500 million luxury residential tower.
Stella at Star Metals will stand 20 stories tall and offer 331 apartments and 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail when it is completed, according to promotional materials from Allen Morris Co. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter and complete in the second quarter of 2024, as first reported by Urbanize.
Stella will be the fourth phase of the district and offer studios, one bedrooms and larger one- and two-bedroom units. Premium apartments will include “lush green terraces,” Allen Morris said. The building was designed by Oppenheim Architecture and prominently features “expansive rolling green roofs, cooper-like banding around the slab edges, and panels of seemingly curved glass that represent modern elements meld with historic industrial roots of the neighborhood.”
The amenity-rich tower will include a rooftop sky lounge with panoramic views of the city, state-of-the-art fitness center, movie theatre and a resort-style rooftop pool on the seventh floor.
