Harry Norman, REALTORS® President Jenni Bonura will represent Atlanta’s real estate sector when the Belgian Economic Mission visits Atlanta from June 4-6.
The 541-member delegation of business, academic and government officials is led by Belgium’s Princess Astrid and will make stops in Boston and New York after Atlanta. The visit is expected to be the largest Belgian delegation to the city since the 1996 Olympics.
During the Atlanta leg of the U.S. trip, which lasts through June 12, Belgian delegates will participate in B2B meetings with appointed U.S. companies and attend seminars, networking events, panel discussions and keynote addresses.
“It is an honor to represent Atlanta’s residential real estate market during this prestigious visit,” Bonura said in a press release. “Our team’s experience with foreign-relocation services, complemented by being entrenched in the Atlanta community for more than 92 years, makes Harry Norman, REALTORS® up for the task of shining a light on how incredible Atlanta is to do business and live.”
Harry Norman will serve as the representing real estate firm at a June 5 breakfast debate about building a sustainable partnership between Belgium and the U.S. A panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges of doing business in the U.S., with a focus on the South, will follow. Delegates will then attend break-out sessions to discuss specific topics with different Atlanta service providers and organizations.
Harry Norman representatives for the debate include Isabelle Gibson, a real estate agent and member of the Belgian American Chamber of the South; Karen McRae, senior vice president, managing broker of corporate and consumer business services; and Gary Mills, vice president of commercial real estate services.
Gibson, McRae and Mills also will attend a dinner with Bonura and Atlanta North agent Lamia Bassim, where they and representatives of other U.S. companies will meet and network with Belgian delegates.
