Home sales and the median price of properties sold both declined again in November, Georgia MLS reported, citing its 12-county Housing Market Snapshot.
By unit, home sales fell 14.3% month over month and 40.2% year over year to 4,187 properties. By dollar volume, sales came in at $1.84 billion, down 17.1% month over month and 37.4% year over year.
The median sales price of homes sold was $370,000, down 2.6% from October but up 4.2% from November 2021.
New listings fell 22.4% month over month and 14.2% year over year to 5,500, while active listings were down 4.2% on a monthly basis and up 78.4% on a yearly one.
Georgia MLS’ 12-county report includes Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding and Rockdale counties.
