It may not quite be the alpha dog, but Atlanta’s Alpharetta suburb still ranks pretty high in terms of coworking spaces.
According to CoworkingCafe, Alpharetta tied for ninth place with the Seattle and Dallas suburbs of Tacoma, Washington, and Irving, Texas, respectively, with 14 coworking facilities.
Of the 37 U.S. suburbs with at least 10 coworking spaces, Irvine, California, outside of Los Angeles took the top spot with 91 spaces, distantly followed by another LA-area town, Newport Beach, and Arlington, Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C., each of which have 25 spaces.
Altogether, the Atlanta metro boasts 77 coworking spaces in 24 suburbs. By comparison, Los Angeles has 361 spaces in 91 suburbs.
