Parkland Communities hired residential development veteran Sherry Lancaster as head of land operations. In her new role, Lancaster will coordinate all land-related activities for the company, which currently has more than 3,000 residential lots under control in metro Atlanta. 

Lancaster has 30 years of experience in development and homebuilding, including work for civil engineering firms, national builders and municipal governments.  

“Sherry’s depth of experience is already a huge win for our team,” Parkland Residential President Jim President Jim Jacobi said. “Her ability to coordinate land acquisitions, complicated entitlements and due diligence will make us even more successful.”  

Lancaster lives in Lawrenceville and is the mother of two adult sons.
