Atlanta-based Blue River Development has brought on brothers and real estate veterans Sean Connelly and Kevin Connelly as strategic partners. The developer expects the Connellys to help it secure new strategic capital and execute financial strategies more effectively. 

Together, the brothers have spent more than 50 years working in the Southeast real estate market, Blue River said in a press release, adding that the duo has maintained a large rental portfolio for institutional investors. They have entitled, zoned or developed over 2,000 lots in the metro Atlanta area.  

The brothers, who have extensive experience in financial modeling, land planning, acquisition and disposition of land and lots, met Blue River managing principals Brad Cooper and Michael Cooper while collaborating on previous deals, the company said.  

Blue River expects the Connellys’ expertise in zoning projects, navigating entitlement processes and raising capital from strategic partners to be “vital assets” going forward.
