Taylor Morrison wins GAHBA Builder of the Year for the first time

by John Yellig

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) named Taylor Morrison its 2024 Builder of the Year, which marks the first time the national homebuilder has received the award.

“Our Atlanta team is passionate about giving back to the communities in which we build, and it’s extremely meaningful to be recognized for that work by being named Homebuilder of the Year for our first time,” Vice President of Construction Ronnie Cline said in a press release. “This year, we look forward to making an even greater impact by utilizing our strengths as a homebuilder and providing vital support to more individuals in need.”

In 2024, Taylor Morrison had representatives on the GAHBA Board of Directors, the HomeAid Georgia Board of Directors and the Workforce Development Committee. The builder expects to expand its role in these organizations in 2025.

Looking ahead, Taylor Morrison’s Atlanta division plans to open five communities for sales this year: Somerset on Veterans Memorial in Mableton, Windance Lake in Loganville, Oakmead in Buford, Reserve at Hickory Walk in Kennesaw and Heritage Farm in Euharlee.  It is currently selling homes in 12 Atlanta metro communities.
