Atlanta’s housing market showed some definite positivity in 2013, according to CoreLogic.
Home prices in the Atlanta marketplace rose 15.0 percent in 2013, according to the latest CoreLogic Home Price Index. That was the third strongest yearly increase of all the metro areas tracked by CoreLogic.
For the entire state of Georgia, prices were up 12.8 percent for the year, though they were flat from October to December; even with that 2013 increase, prices in the Peach State are still 14.6 percent below their Dec. 2006 peak.
