What was your first job in the realty industry? I was an assistant to legendary agent Dawn Mullins in 1996.

Where did you grow up? Atlanta, specifically Vinings

Growing up, what did you want to be? An elementary school teacher or business woman

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Run, needlepoint, read books, and I just started tap lessons

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Herschel Walker. I want to find out how he made it through such adversity in his life and kept a positive attitude through it all.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Taqueria del Sol on Howell Mill with my husband and two boys

What do you love most about the industry? Helping people find their nest: a safe, comfortable home.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I can help with staging myself and will stay hands-on throughout the whole process. I will help with the smallest details of the entire process.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Trying to keep all sides of the deal happy and maintain realistic expectations throughout the process.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Fundraising events are a great way to raise money for a cause and meet a new group of potential clients.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? To keep my business personal. I will not stretch myself so thinly that a client could fall through the cracks. It is important to me to be able to provide service myself and not send a random associate to do my job.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I just saw “Still Alice.” I intentionally saw it as my family is dealing with a potential Alzheimers/dementia case right now. I wanted to face the issue.

What is your favorite restaurant? Nan Thai Fine Dining. Yum!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? Although I love the new wave of contemporary architecture that is popping up in Buckhead, I am generally drawn to the more classic architecture of commercial building like the Flat Iron building downtown, Rhodes Hall and the Capital City Club downtown.

What kind of car do you drive? A Mercedes GL350. It is a diesel SUV, and I love it!

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Jackson Hole, WY
