Tony Scarpero

Branch Manager, Senior Loan Officer
Northpoint Mortgage

Tony Scarpero is revolutionizing the mortgage experience one loan at a time. A senior loan officer and branch manager at Northpoint Mortgage, Scarpero specializes in the Atlanta Intown market, helping everyone from first-time buyers to builders to those buying historic homes with the intention of renovating.

Within the past year, Scarpero was recruited to lead the expansion of his company into the Intown market and is growing his own team to better serve Northpoint’s clients. Scarpero and his company are currently building out their new office space in the heart of Inman Park. “From the beginning, my vision was for this to be more than just a mortgage office; I wanted it to be a community hub,” he says, adding that people in the community can preview Intown properties they co-market with their Realtor partners, or to just visit and enjoy a free cup of coffee and Wi-Fi in their open-concept workspace.

“In the complex world of real estate finance, every client has a unique scenario,” he explains, adding that having the foresight to anticipate and remove potential roadblocks in the transaction is critical to his success, as is utilizing the latest technology to streamline the process. This past year he was able to successfully help an out-of-state investor purchase four investment properties in a luxury high-rise building even when other lenders turned him down.

Thanks to 20 years worth of experience in the real estate industry, Scarpero is well practiced at tailoring his service to best guide his clients in a way that puts them at ease and keeps them feeling comfortable and informed. He is also a Certified Divorce Lending Professional and has completed the Military Mortgage Bootcamp.

Scarpero is an avid cyclist and loves spending time outdoors with his family. He and his wife are currently rebuilding a 100-year-old home of their own in the historic neighborhood of Candler Park.
