Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties marked its 60th anniversary on June 1 with a celebration at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. More than 1,000 people attended, and a Journey cover band, Departure, performed.
The event brought together agents, employees, partners and sponsors and also featured food, a “sponsor village” and networking opportunities, the brokerage said. Former leaders, including founder Ed Erbesfield, Chairman Emeritus Dan Forsman and Executive Vice President Emeritus Toni McGown, were presented with commendations signed by Gov. Brian Kemp.
“Our first 60 years were built on a vision to help make the dream of homeownership for everyone a reality, and they have now been inked into the history books,” President and CEO DeAnn Golden said in a release. “As the Forever Brand, we look to the next decade and beyond with excitement as we continue to deliver exceptional guidance and results to homebuyers, sellers, investors, builders and the communities we serve.”
The firm, which closed $4.8 billion in sales last year, also marked 10 years since it joined HomeServices of America.
