Atlanta has been named one of the best cities for working parents in America, according to a new report from CoworkingCafe.
Twenty communities across the country made CoworkingCafe’s Best U.S. Cities for Working Parents list. Cities were selected using 10 weighted metrics grouped into three categories that best represent the most heavily influenced aspects of family life: education (40%), work (40%), and health and environment (20%).
Atlanta ranked No. 10, with nearly 19% of the working population working remotely. Additionally, there are a significant amount of opportunities with 77% of adults working a job that can be done either remotely or hybrid. And with an average of one public school per square mile, school runs are easier for working parents.
Washington, D.C., topped the list, followed by Arlington, Virginia, at No. 2, followed by Seattle and San Francisco.
