eXp Realty partnered with real estate technology company Opendoor to integrate an application programming interface into its ExpressOffers platform, which will allow the companies to sync the data between their platforms and expedite the process for cash offers.

eXp Realty agents will have the ability to request cash offers on behalf of their clients directly from their eXp dashboard. Sellers will then receive a side-by-side comparison of the Opendoor offer versus a traditional listing option.

“Empowering the nearly 90,000 trusted eXp Realty agents with on-demand, integrated access to an Opendoor cash offer will empower their millions of clients,” Nick Boniakowski, a third-generation broker and head of agents partnerships at Opendoor, said in a press release. “It’s also the first step of a broader relationship that gives us a trusted partner for future opportunities to better serve our customers.”

As part of the arrangement, eXp Realty agents will also have access to the Opendoor for Agents rewards program, which makes them eligible for commissions on future and previously negotiated Opendoor transactions.

The news of Opendoor’s partnership with eXp Realty comes just days after the company’s announcement of a similar joint-selling solution partnership with Zillow.
