RE/MAX Around Atlanta has expanded its reach to Madison with the hiring of 20-year industry veteran Sherry Terrell as associate broker. She previously worked at RE/MAX Agents Realty in Covington. 

Terrell, who will be based out of the brokerage’s Buckhead office, has closed eight sales since joining the firm in May and has more in the works, according to a press release. 

In explaining her decision to join the brokerage, Terrell said, “RE/MAX Around Atlanta offered me opportunities to grow and improve my business. The RMAA brokers made the transition easy, and all of the resources that I need are right there for me.”  

Terrell, who also operates a food pantry in Madison, received the 2022 Georgia Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award, as well as the East Metro Board of REALTORS® 2022 REALTOR of the Year award. 

Terrell holds a BS from DeVry University and served as the assistant director of accounting for two DeVry University campuses in Georgia.
