Blue River Development hired homebuilding veteran Andrew Gagne as chief financial officer.  

The new executive previously served as vice president of finance at Davidson Homes in Huntsville, Alabama, and, before that, he worked at Pulte Homes in Atlanta and Nashville. He’s also worked in public accounting at PwC and EY in Atlanta. 

In his new role, Gagne will oversee all of Blue River’s finance and accounting operations, capital-raising initiatives and underwriting. 

In a press release, he said he hopes to “provide financial support to the development company as it grows into the next phase, ensuring the right underwriting to mitigate risk while accurately presenting the potential upside of each project.”  

“The Blue River family of companies is growing so much that we needed a true CFO in-house to provide guidance and financial expertise,” Managing Partner Brad Cooper added. “I look forward to working with Andrew as he guides BRD to a new level.” 

A Duluth native, Gagne holds an undergraduate degree and a master’s in accounting from Auburn University.
