The first phase of the High Street mixed-use district in the Perimeter has started welcoming residents to its 598 apartments, with 50 move-ins since late January and over 100 leases signed.
The community is designed to be walkable and car-free and is part of the $2 billion megaproject that will ultimately include 150,000 square feet of retail space, 90,000 square feet of loft offices and numerous gathering places, including a signature park and ice-skating rink. The transit-oriented project is tied into the Dunwoody MARTA station.
The 598 residences are divided between two buildings: Windsor Brompton and Windsor Avery. The apartments are stacked above a variety of retail establishments and set amidst tree-lined sidewalks, outdoor gathering areas, water features and a Plaza that will host regularly scheduled events.
So far, the announced retail tenants include Puttshack, Jaguar Bolera, Nando’s PERi-PERi, Velvet Taco, Allen Edmonds, Skin Spirit, The Hampton Social, Agave Bandido, Cuddlefish, Ben & Jerry’s and Sugar Coat.
Community amenities include a fitness and yoga studio, pool and sundeck, catering kitchen and private dining room, coworking spaces, dog run and dog wash, outdoor gaming lawn and bike lounge.
The apartments are available in 16 floor plans and include studios and one- and two-bedrooms. Units come at a variety of price points based on balcony size and orientation, cabinetry colors, built-in work-from-home desks and standalone tubs. All units have quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, porcelain-tile backsplashes and kitchen islands.
The community is managed by Windsor Communities, the wholly owned property management firm of the developer, GID Development Group.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our residents to High Street and everything this premier mixed-use destination has to offer,” GID President James Linsley said in a press release. “Residents will have an incredible mix of chef-driven restaurants, engaging retailers and experiential concepts coming straight to their doorstep, along with beautiful private amenities.”
