Blue River Communities recently closed on Calverton, in McDonough, marking its first acquisition of new-home lots. Reservoir Group was the seller.
The 21-homesite community is located on Chambers Road off Jonesboro Road and is in the Dutchtown High School district. It will feature single-family detached homes ranging from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet.
Blue River Communities, the homebuilding sister company of land developer Blue River Development, expects it will take nine to 12 months before the final plat is recorded and home construction begins. First Continental is providing development funding.
“This small but beautiful project is the perfect gem to kick-off [Blue River Communities’] portfolio of developments right here in our home market of metro Atlanta,” CEO Greg Duriez said in a press release. “This is the first of many upcoming closings for Blue River Communities. We look forward to bringing this community out of the ground to showcase the capabilities of our team.”
