Jim Chapman Construction Group (JCCG) appointed development veteran AJ Colasurdo as its new director of preconstruction and land development.
Colusandro has over 14 years of industry experience and previously worked as a landscape designer/estimator at Scapes, project manager at Bohler Engineering and regional director at Barrier Island Engineering & Consulting.
In his new role, he will work closely with Vice President of Land Development Kevin Hess and lead JCCG’s preconstruction, estimating and project management teams. He will also facilitate the coordination of project managers, site designers and permitting processes with internal departments and external partners like contractors, surveyors, engineers and government agencies.
He is currently involved in several JCCG projects, including Nestledown Farms in Huntsville, Alabama; Perimeter Road in Dawsonville; and the Cottages at Wildwood in Wildwood, Florida.
“AJ is a sound addition to our team,” Hess said in a press release. “His extensive experience and proactive approach to project management and preconstruction services will be invaluable as we continue to expand and enhance our operations. AJ is a perfect fit for our company culture and our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.”
Colasurdo holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Mississippi State University.
