What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Banking
Where did you grow up?
Atlanta
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, fashion designer or hairstylist.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I enjoy taking time away to relax, listen to gospel music and read.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Maya Angelou because of her inspirational thoughts and ideas in life, which carry messages that touch me throughout my life.
What do you love most about the industry?
I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership. It’s my business to make these dreams a reality.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I distinguish myself by not being afraid to believe in people and take advantage of new opportunities, as well as connecting with people wherever they may be.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
The most challenging part of my role (which I don’t even consider a job) is conveying to people that homeownership doesn’t wait for anyone, and that it’s necessary to take a leap of faith sooner rather than later.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Keep plugging away, continue to talk to people and make yourself present not just in real estate, but in their everyday lives. Learning to adapt and meet people where they are.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Gospel music
What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?
My favorite meal comes from Houston’s on Peachtree. I could go there every day; every dish I’ve gotten has been spot-on every time.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?
It’s a tie between The Sun Dial and The King & Queen Buildings.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I had a strange encounter with a squatter who kept returning and eventually moved into a newly constructed home. I had to deal with removing her, and she still came back again.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
People are surprised to learn how compassionate I am to new people.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Aruba. The weather and the breeze from the beach are so relaxing that you can just get away from it all.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta?
Las Vegas

Continue to dream, face new challenges, be present.
