The new 40 West 12th condominium tower in Midtown has launched sales of its final collection of residences: eight units designed for displaying and celebrating art.
The Art Residences begin at $1.7 million and offer “expansive interior wall space and optimal ambient lighting.” Each unit covers 2,400 square feet and has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. A penthouse in the collection is priced at $2.1 million.
The collection features a model home designed by Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio and furnished by 11 Fifty-Nine. Artwork exhibited in the unit was selected by art curator Tom Williams of T Williams Design and includes a six-by-six-foot oil painting by Jennifer Joseph, a floral piece by Atlanta artist John Folsom and an acrylic, sumi-ink painting by Kim Ouellette.
40 West 12th is part of the larger 1105 West Peachtree mixed-use project developed by Selig Development and Rockefeller Group, which includes a class A trophy office tower and an Epicurean Hotel that will service the residences. The towers are connected by a one-acre Sky Plaza and gardens with an outdoor cinema, pool and grilling stations. The plaza will also provide residents access to the hotel pool and food and beverage area.
