David Weekley Homes is set to begin sales at a new, 90-home community in Cumming, Settingdown Farms.

The project marks the homebuilder’s first new development in Forsyth County in 17 years. David Weekley has another Forsyth community in the pipeline as well. It will begin selling homes at Meadowbrook Farms in spring 2025.

Settingdown will offer seven single-family floor plans, a pool and cabana and a network of walking trails.

David Weekly has opened a VIP list ahead of a drive-in preview event set for Oct. 19. Those joining the list will also have access to invitation-only contract appointments on Oct. 25. The community is expected to open to the public for sales on Dec. 7.

“Homebuying has become somewhat of a competitive sport in recent years,” said Adam Cornett, David Weekley’s Atlanta division president. “Our VIP lists are designed to afford those homebuyers who are most interested in our up-and-coming communities with a leg up on the competition. They will have first pick of home sites before we open the community to the public.”
