HomeAid Georgia recently named its new executive board members, the first group to serve on the body since HomeAid Atlanta expanded to its current mission serving the entire state last year.

All board members are longtime supporters who were integral to bringing about the larger mission, the nonprofit noted in an announcement.

The 2025-2026 president, Jonathan White of Meritage Homes, has been a HomeAid board member since 2020. White and Meritage have participated in multiple HomeAid Care Days, the annual Essentials Drive and HomeAid golf tournament. Recently they’ve been busy in Clayton County, where HomeAid is developing a new building for Gigi’s House, which provides a refuge for teenage victims of sex trafficking.

The 2025-2026 vice president, Carol Morgan of Denim Marketing, has been regularly volunteering with HomeAid for more than 16 years, including HomeAid Care Days, Essentials Drives and more.

“I support HomeAid’s work to build a future without homelessness because everyone should have a roof over their heads, and so many people facing homelessness are women and children,” she said. “One of the best things about volunteering with HomeAid and serving on the board is being a part of an organization that actually makes a difference.”

The 2025-2026 treasurer, Lennar Atlanta Division President Tom Bowers, joined the HomeAid board in 2021 and has been involved in all areas of HomeAid’s work since then. In 2023, Tom and the Lennar team helped HomeAid renovate a home that became Gwinnett County’s first Homeowner Resource Center with Gwinnett Housing Corporation. Most recently, Bowers and Lennar Atlanta partnered with HomeAid to add nine affordable units for veterans and their families at the Veterans Empowerment Organization.

The 2025-2026 secretary, Taylor Morrison Atlanta Division Vice President Ronnie Cline, has led multiple HomeAid construction projects and participated in many HomeAid Care Days since 2015. In 2024, Ronnie was instrumental in getting two major projects started and helped one of HomeAid’s nonprofit partners with construction questions and small projects.
