Debonair. Cool. GQ. Distinguished. Dapper. Sharp. These are just a few of the adjectives my friends and social media network have used to describe my style, and I must say, I wholeheartedly agree. I pride myself on striking a balance between professional, conservative, contemporary, simple, and stylish looks. Fashion, to me, is about embodying confidence and sophistication while maintaining a modern edge.
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
Almost every day, I receive compliments on my CAZAL Legend glasses. These luxurious frames, designed by the legendary Cari Zalloni, became an iconic symbol of the 1980s hip-hop scene. With their distinctive gold metal bars and bold design, they pay homage to the era’s most popular styles. Not only are they a standout fashion statement, but they’re also the perfect conversation starter.
What are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
When it comes to looking professional or attending formal events, I gravitate toward suits and jackets from Armani. The athletic-cut designs fit me perfectly, contouring to my frame with no need for tailoring adjustments. The craftsmanship is impeccable, making them my go-to for sharp, sophisticated looks.
Outside of my professional life, I stay active coaching teenage boys’ soccer, often found wearing Adidas or Nike alongside my son, Kyle.
Who is your style icon?
I have several style icons, as I’ve always admired fashion from past decades. From the glamorous jazz age of the 1930s to the innovative and individualistic styles of today, I find inspiration in the evolution of fashion. Among those who have most impressed me are Nat King Cole, Will Smith, David Beckham, and more recently, Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid soccer star and the newest face of Louis Vuitton.
What is the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired?
Honestly speaking the most expensive pieces that I have purchased have been my wife (Andrea’s) ring and her bags. After that come my suits, belt, and watch.
What is your style advice for other people in the industry?
In today’s competitive real estate market, success relies on presenting yourself with professionalism, efficiency, and a deep understanding of the deal. However, these factors, while important, are secondary to the first impression you make with clients. This is where style plays a pivotal role. As Realtors, it’s crucial to cultivate a unique style that resonates with us—a look that is professional, simple, clean, and striking. When you make a strong visual impression from the start, you set the stage for a positive and productive outcome.
As Jay-Z wisely said, “Remember, NOBODY built like you. You design yourself.”
