Throughout 2025, my guiding principle as CEO of Georgia REALTORS® remained the same: to amplify the Realtor voice across Georgia. Only GAR is uniquely positioned to support both the individual Georgia citizen and the real estate industry at the same time — this is definitive value.
Whether through education, legal, advocacy or member experience, every effort reflects a shared purpose — empowering Realtors to help Georgians achieve homeownership, access commercial real estate and build wealth.
A statewide communication strategy has also evolved to celebrate Georgia Realtors and their impact on local communities. GAR is ensuring that our story — not just our size — defines our strength. GAR continues to advocate on behalf of members and to build collaborative relationships that strengthen both residential and commercial sectors.
With every improvement, GAR demonstrates that progress isn’t about changing who we are — it’s about ensuring Realtors across Georgia have an association built to serve their future as well as their present. Recent strategic adjustments have optimized investments and already produced measurable gains that increase our long-term sustainability. These changes make the association more nimble and provide additional focus for member programs. Every gain helps offset rising costs in event planning and member services — and reinforces GAR’s financial health.
Strengthening the three-way agreement between the National Association of REALTORS®, GAR and local boards has remained a central focus. GAR leadership and staff traveled across the state earlier this year to all of our 13 regions during our member connect summits. These summits allowed members to see firsthand how statewide initiatives — from standardized forms to advocacy campaigns to education and community service — connect directly to their day-to-day work. Hundreds of members attended these events across the state. That effort built unity and visibility at a time when collaboration has never mattered more. A knowledgeable REALTOR® leads to an informed client, and this protects the public interest.
By staying connected to members, championing education, legal and advocacy efforts, all while modernizing systems behind the scenes, GAR continues to prove that being the most impactful association doesn’t require being the largest — only the most focused.
The momentum built throughout 2025 provides renewed strength through service as we move into the new year. GAR is well positioned to remain a premier trade association in Georgia and one of the leading Realtor organizations in the nation. Building on the innovation, engagement and connectivity of the past year, we enter 2026 guided by a simple truth: Value amplifies through action.
Brad Mock is the CEO of Georgia REALTORS®.
